Dr. Lawrence N Mdegela
Dr. Lawrence Mdegela is the Founder and Principal AI Consultant at iCraftAI, a strategic consultancy focused on helping organizations harness data and artificial intelligence to drive innovation and growth. He earned his Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Computer Science from the University of Antwerp (Belgium), where he completed advanced research in partnership with imec, one of Europe’s leading research institutions in digital technologies. With deep expertise spanning machine learning, data science, and intelligent systems, Dr. Mdegela brings a research-driven and practical approach to solving complex business challenges. Through iCraftAI, he is committed to empowering organizations to adopt transformative AI solutions in ways that are effective, ethical, and aligned with long-term strategic goals.

Dr. Devotha G. Nyambo is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of iCraftAI, bringing strong leadership, practical analytics expertise, and real-world solution design to the company. She contributes deep experience in data-driven modelling and intelligent systems, including agent-based modelling and simulation, a powerful approach for understanding complex behaviours and interactions in dynamic systems. Dr. Nyambo has a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative computational tools and platforms for applied challenges across sectors such as agriculture, health, and education. Her strengths include leading multidisciplinary teams, shaping analytics-based initiatives, and translating advanced technical concepts into impactful business solutions. At iCraftAI, she oversees strategic operations and ensures delivery excellence in AI and data science engagements.
